Watching Lost In Translation made me think of my last time there & I dug for some pic #travel… These are photo of #Shibuya #Akihabara #Asakusa #Shinjuku
Two friends and I started a club of sorts. Sundays are usually met with dread but we’re changing that by having good food for dinner in Chicago. Last week we visit Union Sushi in River North. Food was delicious! What you see is a collection of food that enables big smiles & many returns. Clockwise: skate, seasonal pumpkin mochi cake (pie?), coconut ice cream bar, soba salad, old city market roll, mushroom dumplings, grilled chicken & shitake mushrooms, oyster, killer Yuzu pie and whole grilled squid. Go eat there now!
Watching this video makes me so happy! Server firing our fish at table. Love the Japanese girls & their camera phones! #Travel #Japan #Tokyo #Izakaya #pub
Bento box for lunch! #food #Japan My favorite thing to eat during the summer is cold soba noodles. So delicious!
Tokyo Tower is probably my favorite tower! I wonder if I’ll still have the same love for it once Sky Tree is completed. Sky Tree will also be in Tokyo but much taller! In fact, it’s reported to be the tallest in the world!
Brunch in #Paris. #travel The way it should be! This was such a cute place and they made their raspberry jam in their kitchen! So delicious. Started with a refreshing banana chocolate smoothie then had smoked salmon with veggies. If you’re ever in Paris, you have got to check out their scrambled eggs! They don’t look like ones you have in America but they’re very tasty. Then off to Greek yogurt and finish off the great meal with rhubarb crumb cake. Funny story, our brunch-mate was very surprised we knew what rhubarb is and that we’ve had it before. Told her that we, from Chicago, are very into food from all over!
The very renowned Bath Buns at Bath, UK. I wish I had room for more! It was a really tasty bun with the right amount of sweet in it! #travel.
Tempura heaven in Tokyo. The first is at Sansada (三定), with 150 years of history! The second was my favorite in a restaurant that has a boat built inside. I loved it because it was my first time to walk-in a restaurant and order off of a Japanese menu with no pictures!!! I was so proud of myself. The third was at a restaurant in Hakone.
